Choose a hero, keep working, and let your keystrokes carry you through the dungeon.

Choose your companion
Select Raid from the launch menu. Choose one of the nine heroes; each has its own rhythm, starting health, and abilities. That hero stays with you for the whole run. Try the Knight for a steady first journey, or choose a class for your typing habits.
Learn in the prologue
A new full run begins with a short prologue of three fights. It teaches the same combat and reward loop as the later realms, with smaller enemies and reduced experience. The prologue uses the first full realm's silence and bleeding stage. After it, five full realm stages lead toward the final guardian at level 100.
The catalog contains twenty possible realm types. You visit six stages in a new full run, including the prologue; you do not visit all twenty in a single raid. Older saved runs may begin without the prologue.
Type to fight
Grant Input Monitoring when the app asks so it can count background input. Normal accepted keystrokes deal damage immediately. Your hero's special keys, equipment, and the realm rule can change the result. Held-key repeats do not turn into unlimited attacks.
You gain experience while damaging a boss, and receive the larger remaining share when it falls. You can level up during the fight. Combat and healing explains what happens on each stroke.
Read the next encounter
After a victory, review the drop and decide whether to equip it. The game waits for your choice. Next, choose between a standard boss, an elite, and a challenger. Their cards describe difficulty and rewards. Every third fight in a full realm is its guardian. See bosses and threats.
Take a real break
Silence eventually causes bleeding. Once it starts, one isolated stroke does not reset the danger: return to continuous typing to recover. Lock your Mac when you step away; the danger clock pauses while it is locked, its screens sleep, or another user's session is active. See silence and bleeding.
Keep a legacy
Regular equipment and boons belong to the current run. Heirlooms are the trinkets and rings you keep between full runs. Guardians offer family heirlooms that can grow through duplicate stars and matching keystrokes. Learn about heirlooms before choosing your first one.
Try the short version
Test runs compress encounter health and progression so you can try the whole flow quickly. They still use real-time silence, bleeding, and healing. They do not save heirloom gains or hero records to your full-run legacy. Full and Test runs explains the differences.
