Heirlooms and your legacy

Trinkets and rings are the pieces of a raid you can carry into the next journey. Each belongs to one of twenty realm families.

Find a family

Every family has a trinket and a ring at each of five tiers: ten items per family, two hundred heirlooms in total. Guardians offer heirlooms from their realm's family. Other encounters can also replace a drop with an heirloom, with better chances from elites and challengers.

Browse all families and heirlooms to see which realm guards the item you want. Different tiers remain distinct items in the catalog and collection.

Duplicate stars

The first copy gives you the item. Keeping another copy of that exact heirloom improves its stars, up to five. Each additional star adds 15% to its positive bonuses: the base multipliers are 1.00, 1.15, 1.30, 1.45, and 1.60. Item pages show the base effects at every star level.

Awakened perks

Wear the heirloom and type in the way its attunement condition asks. Matching strokes count toward cumulative milestones at one, four, and ten times the item's base goal. Each milestone adds a perk. Progress survives death in a full run. The item page gives the exact condition, stroke thresholds, and scaled perk values.

Displayed perk rows are additions to the base effects, not replacements. Star bonuses also apply to positive awakened effects. Test runs accelerate attunement for demonstration, but do not write that progress back to the lasting collection.

Set bonuses

Wear a trinket and ring from the same family to activate the set. The bonus uses the lower tier of the two items. Set effects are separate from each item's base effects and awakened perks; duplicate stars do not scale the set bonus.

Family pages show set effects at all five tiers and link to every member of the family.

Death, abandonment, and resets

Collected heirlooms remain after a full run ends or is abandoned. A Test run leaves the lasting heirloom ledger and hero records unchanged. Reset all progress is different: it erases the collection along with the rest of the game progress. Review saving and records before using a reset control.
